Pharaoh Brown is headed back to the AFC East. The former Oregon tight end, who played for the Seattle Seahawks last season, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins, according to multiple reports. It will be the eighth team for Brown, who was previously in the division with the New England Patriots in 2023.

Unsurprisingly, the Seattle Seahawks’ theme of not re-signing any of their 2024 free agents continues. Tight end Pharaoh Brown’s first season in Seattle was also his last. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that the former Oregon player will be heading to the Miami Dolphins.

Brown keeps getting jobs around the league because he's been an excellent in-line blocking tight end throughout his career. However, last season wasn't his best work. Brown's PFF run-blocking grade ranked 49th (out of 75) at the tight end position.

The Dolphins are signing veteran tight end Pharaoh Brown, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. The seven-year veteran will add some depth to a thin tight end room behind 2024 breakout Jonnu Smith. The Dolphins moved on from Durham Smythe last month, leaving Julian Hill as the only other tight end on the roster with any NFL experience.
