Days before Samsung takes the stage in New York City to unveil the Galaxy Note 9, Google has stolen the spotlight with the surprise release of Android 9.0 Pie on Monday.

If you own the Samsung Galaxy Note FE (Fan Edition), it looks like Android 9 Pie is coming to you soon. The Galaxy Note FE is essentially a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

Smartphones that are part of the Android One program come with a promise for timely OS updates. Well, it's hardly been timely, but Android 9.0 Pie has now rolled out to the Xiaomi Mi A1.
