Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 29 points and topped the 21,000-point mark for his career as the Milwaukee Bucks snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 116-99 victory over the short-handed Brooklyn Nets.
The Nets were shorthanded for the game, down Michael Porter Jr., Cam Thomas, and Egor Demin. That showed big time as the Nets got outclassed 116-99 by the Bucks, falling to a measly 3-16 in the process.
The Bucks led by as many as 32 points in the third quarter as Antetokounmpo took over, scoring 11 of his game-high 29 points and reminding everyone why he is one of the league’s best. For Brooklyn’s rookies, it was a clear example of how far they still have to go.
