A "difficult year" for Arkansas football came to an end against Missouri. Whoever obtains the reins as next head coach has much to rebuild.

Missouri was 4.5 point favorites coming into the game. Arkansas' bowl hopes left a month ago, the chances at a good season long before that. The weather sat in the high 40s at kickoff with wind gusting over 15 miles an hour. By nightfall the weather was even worse.

It was a frustrating season for Arkansas, which is yet to find its next head coach going into a pivotal new era of Razorback football.

Between online trolling, using former Arkansas coach Sam Pittman’s signature “yes sir” during his press conference after winning in 2022, mispronouncing Taylen Green’s name last year, and, ultimately, dominating the border rivalry, the Alma native has been a thorn in the side of the Razorbacks.

Arkansas football is making a change at quarterback, with redshirt freshman KJ Jackson starting against Missouri.
