The San Francisco 49ers are in an interesting spot as we begin training camp for the 2025 season. After a roster purge of sorts this offseason, the Niners will equip a roster with many new faces. The team lost nine starters and nearly 20 roster members in total to trade or free agency after a disappointing 6-11 season that was ravaged by injuries and underwhelming performances.

SANTA CLARA -- The 49ers just finished Day 1 of training camp. One wide receiver decided not to hold out, another wide receiver pulled his hamstring, the franchise quarterback threw two interceptions, and the rookie first-round pick made a strong first impression.
