PARIS — U.S. Vice President JD Vance warned global leaders and tech CEOs at a Paris summit on artificial intelligence on Tuesday that “excessive regulation” would kill the rapidly growing AI industry.

The summit will take place on Feb. 10 and 11 in Paris, France and is the vice president's first of several high-profile meetings with foreign leaders this week.
