The latest hour-by-hour Met Office forecast for Liverpool on Saturday morning has several hours of heavy snow hitting from Saturday night. That's expected to carry on until Sunday morning, turning to rain as the day progresses.

The weather warning is in place from midday today (January 4), until 11.59pm on Sunday, January 5, and covers large parts of the south-west including Bristol, Devon, Bath and North East Somerset, Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire.
