Listeria outbreak causes Trader Joe's recall, Walmart, Fresh Express to recall items
The Food Safety and Inspection Service announced that Brucepac, maker of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products, is recalling nearly 10 million pounds of meat, as they may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause a serious infection known as Listeriosis.
The updated recall includes ready-to-eat items sold at stores including Costco, Trader Joe's, Target, Walmart and Kroger.
