The Phoenix Suns have fired head coach Mike Budenholzer and Kevin Durant is expected to be moved after a disappointing season in which they failed to make the playoffs. The Knicks are expected to be among the teams potentially involved for Durant, although virtually every team in the NBA will likely reach out to Phoenix.

The next step may be finding a new home for Durant, as ESPN's Shams Charania is reporting that the Suns are "expected to engage in trade conversations involving Durant," and will work with his representation to find him a place he wants to go.

"Never happen," team governor Mat Ishbia told ESPN's Tim MacMahon in March when asked about the possibility of trading Booker. "It's silly. So here's what I'll tell you: I have Devin Booker in the prime. In order to win an NBA championship, you got to have a superstar. You got to have a great player."
