A driver attempted to flee after hitting a pedestrian in Ogden Friday evening, according to the Ogden Police Department.

Officers were dispatched around 5 p.m. to the crash at South 72nd Street and G Street. The woman was dead at the scene, Tacoma Police Department spokesperson Shelbie Boyd told The News Tribune. Officials have not released the woman’s identity.
