The Arizona Cardinals finished last season with an 8-9 record, marking their first time topping four wins in two years.

Leave it to the Arizona Cardinals to shake up the NFL’s schedule release day with something completely unexpected. While teams across the league rolled out flashy trailers, skits, and pop culture mashups, the Cardinals went straight to the mic — literally.

Arizona Cardinals linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. wrote and performed the song “18 Bars” to announce the team's 2025 regular season schedule.

Wilson is a linebacker for the Cardinals. He was a two-time All-State selection at Carver High School in Montgomery and intercepted four passes for Alabama ‘s CFP national-championship team in the 2017 season. He left the Crimson Tide as a fifth-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Kellen Moore will attempt to rebuild the New Orleans Saints this coming season. But he’ll do it largely away from the national spotlight.

Most of the coverage surrounding the Arizona Cardinals' offseason has been rightfully centered around the first period of free agency and the NFL Draft. That's as it should be, considering the wealth of defensive players GM Monti Ossenfort brought on to help flip Arizona's defense from a crutch into a strength.

The Saints are coming off a 5-12 season, their worst finish since 2005. Before the midway point, the team fired head coach Dennis Allen. It was the first mid-season head coaching firing New Orleans had made since 1980, when replacing Dick Nolan for Dick Stanfel on their way to a 1-15 record.
