Caitlin Clark Sends Proud Message to Indiana Fever After Big Win
Clark scored 25 out of her 32 points in the first half, which resulted in Indiana taking a 53-50 lead at the break. The Liberty attempted to mount a comeback after the break, scoring the first nine points of the second half to go up by six points. The Fever, though, were able to keep their composure.
Their perfect season ended Saturday, but the defending champs might be better than last year, with one notable weakness.
The New York Liberty, reigning WNBA champions, travel to Indiana to face the Fever in a Commissioner's Cup matchup on Saturday, June 14.
New York takes on the Indiana Fever after Sabrina Ionescu scored 23 points in the Liberty's 85-66 win against the Chicago Sky.
