Gas prices in Atlanta have dropped to an average of $2.87 per gallon, down 3.6 cents from last week and over 53 cents lower than a year ago.

Prices at the pump have gone down 11 cents since April according to the latest gas prices from AAA. The automotive and travel-focused organization has a daily gas price tracker, which shows the state average in Georgia has gone down four cents since last week.

While the majority of states saw gas prices go down last week, the average cost of gas in Louisville climbed once again.
