Former Edna Karr football standout Corey Adams has died from gunshot wounds suffered Saturday night, according to a release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee.

Prayers are pouring in after an SEC football player died at 18 years old.

"For the more than 100 people who attended this pool party, I truly believe that somebody heard something, somebody saw something," Buckner said.
