The Chicago area has gotten a bit of a reprieve from snow lately, but that’s going to change with multiple chances of accumulating snow in coming days.
Thursday is bright but cold, with temperatures stuck in the 20s across the Chicago area. Snow chances return this evening and continue into Friday. A couple of inches of accumulation are possible overnight into tomorrow, which could lead to slick roads, so drive carefully during the morning commute.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Bands of lake-effect snow are forecast to continue in Northwest Indiana Thursday. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for Porter County until noon. ABC7 Accuweather Meteorologist said an additional one to three inches of snow is possible. The lake-effect bands are also generating poor visibility.
