This weekend is the big one for Chase Briscoe. A native Hoosier, and the son of affable Sprint Car racer Kevin Briscoe, the Mitchell, Indiana export has wanted to win the Brickyard 400 above every other race on the schedule.

The Joe Gibbs Racing driver leads the Cup Series with seven wins in crown jewel races (Daytona 500, Southern 500, Brickyard 400, Coca-Cola 600) and would become the fifth driver to complete the grand slam with a win at Indy.

Notes of Interest ●Eyes on Indy. The family-owned Beard Motorsports team is gearing up for its third NASCAR Cup Series race of the season and second in a row with 20-year-old driver Jesse Love when it hits the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval for Sunday’s Brickyard 400.

The Brickyard 400 returns to Indianapolis Motor Speedway with events, races, and big names like Cookie Monster and Pascal Siakam.
