Are dogs on leash ok in the garden? I saw someone in the review said it’s ok but their website said it’s not ok. I have a well behaved small dog I’d like to bring with me if possible.

Spring is often the best time of year, especially if there has been some rain because many things, including desert plants are in bloom. This is a garden that represents many eco-systems, so it's never uniform. Check their website, they often have tours at certain times of year
How long does it usually take to walk around the whole garden?
A:
Give yourself two hours or so... You could do it in an hour if you were in a rush... Add on 15-20 minutes if you want to see the redwood grove across the road.
